Abu Dhabi, UAE, 27 August 2026: Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (SUAD) welcomed new Foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate students to its campus as part of its Fall 2026 Orientation Programme, marking the start of the new academic year.

The programme introduced students to university life through academic sessions, campus activities and opportunities to meet faculty, fellow students and the wider SUAD community.

Farah Albeshr, Head of Division Student Experience, at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, said: "We are delighted to welcome our new students as they begin their journey at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Starting university is an exciting new chapter, and we look forward to seeing them become part of our diverse and dynamic community, build new connections and make the most of the academic and cultural opportunities ahead."

The orientation also extends beyond the campus, giving students, particularly those joining SUAD from abroad, the opportunity to discover the UAE through visits to cultural and tourist destinations across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, including Louvre Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan and Al Seef.

With students and alumni representing more than 90 nationalities, SUAD offers a distinctly multicultural environment that brings together different cultures and perspectives. The orientation reflects the University's wider role as a cultural and academic hub in Abu Dhabi, connecting its French academic heritage with the UAE's diverse and dynamic community.
