Abu Dhabi, 15 September 2026: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi (DoH), have announced the activation of the digital integration of their services, to provide electronic issuance and digital attestation of birth and death certificates via TAMM, Abu Dhabi's government services platform. This integration marks a qualitative step toward enhancing the quality of government services in Abu Dhabi and streamlining the customer journey, in line with efforts to lead the digital transformation of government services.
The new service streamlines procedures and enhances the overall customer experience as the process can now be completed in a single step, around the clock and within minutes through a unified digital platform. By streamlining the customer journey and reducing administrative complexity, the enhancement delivers a secure, reliable, and seamless service experience, further advancing the efficiency and quality of digital government services for individuals and families across the emirate.
HE Sheikha Hissa bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs affirmed that the ministry continues to strengthen its integrated approach through strategic institutional partnerships with government entities, supporting seamless coordination and accelerating digital transformation. Her Excellency noted that enhanced data exchange, system interoperability, and streamlined service procedures for a unified digital journey contribute to the delivery of smarter, more efficient, and proactive services that place customers at the center of the service experience.
Her Excellency added that these efforts are a key step in reimagining government service delivery through greater integration, simplification, and digital enablement, an approach that reflects the UAE's commitment to building a more agile and future-ready government ecosystem, reinforcing its global leadership in government innovation, service excellence, and digital transformation.

MoFA continues to partner with government entities to advance digital integration and supporting the UAE's whole-of-government approach for the development of a more connected government ecosystem. To date, the ministry has integrated its services with a wide range of government partners, contributing to a reduction of up to 90 per cent in procedures, requirements, and service delivery times.
In 2025, approximately 47,000 birth and death certificates were issued across the emirate. The department continues to work alongside its partners to develop additional advanced digital services that align with the emirate's priorities to enhance government efficiency, accelerate processes, and provide quality services in line with the highest international standards.
