In stage 1 of O Gran Camiño, Julius Johansen rocketed to the first professional victory of his career. The UAE Team Emirates-XRG powerhouse produced an epic ride against the clock to win the individual time trial and move into the race lead.
Fresh from helping his teammates throughout the spring Classics campaign, Johansen got his own chance on Tuesday afternoon and certainly made the most of it. Completing the 15km-long course in 17 minutes and 43 seconds, the 26-year-old was ultimately 15 seconds faster than the second-placed-rider on the day, Rafael Reis (Anicolor/Campicarn).

UAE Team Emirates – XRG's rising star Isaac Del Toro delivered another confident performance at the Giro d'Italia, securing third place on today's stage and successfully defending the maglia rosa for a fourth consecutive day. The 20-year-old extended his overall lead in the general classification with a composed and tactical ride through the final kilometres, which concluded in Vicenza.

Isaac del Toro and UAE Team Emirates-XRG have successfully defended the Maglia Rosa in Stage 11 of the Giro d'Italia, maintaining his lead in the general classification.
The 186km stage from Viareggio to Castelnovo ne' Monti featured the challenging Alpe San Pellegrino climb which saw a big shake-up in the peloton. In the closing stages Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost) secured victory with a decisive solo attack in the final 6 kilometers

Abu Dhabi, 3rd April 2025: The Manchester City Abu Dhabi Cup will return in 2026 with an exciting expansion to a three-day tournament, following a record-breaking 2025 edition.
In February this year, 180 teams from 31 countries participated in the region’s tournament of choice, held at Zayed Sports City. The tournament has become a must for global teams and with demand already high for 2026, it was decided to expand the tournament further.
A third day will allow more teams to join the amazing event and allow all players more time on the pitch. An enhanced opening ceremony and City Village will add to the overall visitor experience.
