Sincilating Speed on Display in Latest Round of YAS Super Street Challenge

New winners came out on top this weekend as the 2022 championship heads towards enticing finale in April at the region’s home of motorsport 

Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE, March 15, 2022: The region’s drag racing community display impressive speed and skill, during the latest round of action in this year’s Yas Super Street Challenge.  The third round crowned new drivers in front of a season-high crowd this weekend at Yas Marina Circuit.  
As the second half of this season’s competition kicked off in style at the region’s home of motorsport, the third round of action saw a strong grid take to the drag strip across the 6 categories with 4 new race winners to cap off the weekend on Yas Island.  

In the Outlaw V6 category, Jasim Ali Jasim took back first place with his victory on Sunday following his opening round win earlier in the season, while Saeed Ali Al Falasi earned his first win of the season in the Outlaw V8 category in a pulsating weekend of action on track.  

The INDEX leagues saw new winners crowned across each category, as Faisal Al Ahmad took the win in the INDEX 9.0 section despite a strong push from Hamdan and Abdulrahman Alkabbi. Akram Khalil earned the victory in the INDEX 10.0 division, while Musabbeh Ali Musabbeh finished atop the podium in the INDEX 11.0 category. 

There were no surprises in the 4X4 category, as Fadi Takif Tamour continued his run of a victory in each race weekend as he retained top spot following his win in the previous round at the region’s home of motorsport in Abu Dhabi.
