Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Etihad Engineering, a leading provider of comprehensive aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions, won the 'MRO Services Provider of the Year' award in the field of commercial aviation at the Aviation Achievement Awards 2024 held in Dubai, UAE With a workforce of around 2,000 professionals drawn from more than 50 countries, Etihad Engineering provides industry-leading aircraft MRO services to customers from around the world. 'We are honoured to receive the Aviation Achievement Award 2024 for our MRO services and I dedicate it to our hard-working team in Abu Dhabi and valued customers worldwide,' said Daniel Hoffmann, CEO of Etihad Engineering. 'We successfully delivered more than 200 aircraft with high customer satisfaction last year and continue to grow our capabilities and capacity and are geared up to reach even higher in 2024,' Daniel added. Etihad Engineering has delivered comprehensive MRO solutions to hundreds of airlines including flag carriers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), aircraft operators and leasing companies in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and Australia over three decades. The company recently expanded its site area, adding more parking and hangar space to meet its growing business, and covers a total area of 545,000 sqm. Two new hangars are being built to expand the existing hangar capacity and serve more aircraft and customers from around the world.
