Abu Dhabi-UAE 21 November 2022: Gargash Group, one of the largest distributors of luxury performance-oriented cars in the UAE, today announced the opening of a new standalone Alfa Romeo showroom in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi—in line with Gargash Group’s strategy to expand its presence in the market and to meet the burgeoning demand for automobiles in the region.
The opulent opening was marked by the unveiling of the new showroom along with the launch of the world’s first Alfa Romeo Racing Academy.
To celebrate the momentous opening, distinguished guests in attendance included Shehab Gargash, MD & Group CEO of Gargash Group, Jean-Philippe Imparato, Global Brand CEO of Alfa Romeo, Saif Al Noaimi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management and other senior members from the Gargash and Alfa Romeo teams.
Joining the fervour of the opening were Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu—renowned Formula One racing drivers for Alfa Romeo. The showroom opening symbolizes a new chapter in the history of Alfa Romeo and is illustrative of the Italian brand’s ongoing metamorphosis and radical change built on its unique motoring history.

At the event, guests were treated to a special Italian experience curated by the Gargash team and were given a peek into Alfa Romeo’s rich heritage and the world’s first Alfa Romeo Racing Academy.

Covering approximately 3000 sq ft, the new Alfa Romeo showroom will offer a full range of Alfa Romeo cars for sale, including the full complement of models from the Giulia, Stelvio and the Quadrifoglio range.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the rich history of Alfa Romeo and customers also have access to exclusive experiences, book test drives and purchase branded accessories at the venue.
World’s First Alfa Romeo Racing Academy
Gargash Group in partnership with ADMM has unveiled the first-ever Alfa Romeo Racing Academy in Abu Dhabi. Curated to give racing enthusiasts a platform to nurture their interests and to be part of the world of racing, the centre will offer guests the chance to take the Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio for a spin on the racetrack along with the opportunity to obtain a racing license.
Boasting a fierce beast under the hood, the 2.9L V6 bi-turbo engine and 510 BHP Horsepower designed to fit the epic twists and turns of the Formula One track, will deliver a thrill like no other.
