The community cycling event supports the UAE’s vision for a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle
Abu Dhabi, UAE, February 24, 2025: More than 200 cyclists gathered on Al Hudayriat Island for the third edition of NYU Abu Dhabi’s (NYUAD) Annual Falcon Ride, a community event that continues to grow in popularity. Open to riders of all skill levels, the free ride offered participants a chance to enjoy Abu Dhabi’s stunning skyline at dusk while cycling a 10km loop, with the option to complete additional laps.
As part of the event, participants received a complimentary Annual Falcon Ride cycling jersey, sunglasses, and a medal to mark their achievement. The initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader efforts to encourage active and eco-friendly lifestyles, complementing programs such as Abu Dhabi 360 and Bike Abu Dhabi. These initiatives are designed to enhance cycling infrastructure and promote fitness, mobility, and sustainability across the emirate.
